Star Wars Day is commemorated on the 4th of May every year – both as a play on its famous phrase (May The Force be with you) and as an opportunity for fans to express their love and hatred that flows through the download lagu franchise.
Like our 2022 edition, we’ve compiled a list of things you can do as a Star Wars fan for 2023.
Ultrafamous tourist attraction Gardens By The Bay has a packed evening schedule lined up for Star Wars fans on the day itself, 4 May 2023. You can do four different things, but we’re rolling it into one listing for the excellent planners and diehard fans who want it all.
The first activity starts as early as 5.00PM, where you can head down to the North Colonnade (towards Cannonball Room) to play Star Wars: Legion with other tabletop gaming buddies.
Other activities include a costume walk with appearances by Star Wars costumers (subject to dry weather conditions). This one will happen at the Supertree Grove area, with two half-hour sessions at 7.00PM and 8.00PM.
If you’re an aspiring Jedi, there’s a lightsaber crash course by The Saber Authority where you can wield combat-ready lightsabre replicas with basic martial arts techniques. These guys are doing four 20-minute sessions, with the first starting at 7.00PM at the Supertree Grove Lawn. Slots are limited at 12 pax per session, and they accept walk-ins only.
Finally, the Force-sensitive music lovers can enjoy Garden Rhapsody: Star Wars Edition, where the iconic Supertrees at GBTB will feature music and light shows set to Star Wars soundtracks. This occurs at 7.45PM and 8.45PM.
